The experts behind your drawings
Alfonso—known to most as "Al"—began his career in 1999 as a patent draftsman, where he developed a sharp eye for technical detail. After five years in the patent field, Al pivoted to the creative sector, joining a boutique marketing firm as a web and graphic designer. He quickly advanced to become the firm's Creative Director and Marketing Adviser. In 2007, drawing on his unique blend of technical precision and creative strategy, Al seized the opportunity to launch his own studio. He has been driving results for his clients ever since.
Andy has been a patent illustrator since 2004. He graduated from Frostburg State University as an Art and Design major with a minor in Art History. As an accomplished illustrator and cartoonist, Andy has produced art work for multiple types of media.
He joined Artworks IP in early 2011 and has been a huge asset in providing our clients with the best quality work. Andy is knowledgeable in all things concerning patent illustrations, so feel free to ask him some of the tough questions!
Elizabeth brings strong illustrative skills to our team of draftsman. She grew up in the Tri-State Area just outside NYC and is a graduate from The Joe Kubert School. Elizabeth use to teach Adobe programs, so she has very strong software skills. She has worked on a few comic books by helped create and letter custom comic fonts. Elizabeth likes to spend her free time binding books, quilting and painting.
Adam Winsor is an artist, designer, illustrator, and fabricator, with a degree in Art + Design from NCSU. In addition to technical illustration, he has done work in product design and prototyping, book illustration, 3D modelling, animation, and photography. In his free time, you can find Adam in his basement workshop, creating spooky effects for next Halloween, or in the kitchen, taste-testing an experimental original recipe.
Larry joines our team with 21 years of experience as a patent illustrator. He's a gradute of the Parsons School of Design in New York, NY. Larry is proud of the work he performed in a lead role in the typesetting of the American Immigrant Wall of Honor at Ellis Island and the production of an interactive exhibition at the Dorothy and Lewis Cullman Hall of the Universe-Rose Center for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History. Larry enjoys landscaping in his free time.
